More from London!

So to those of you that have been following my blog, I am so sorry for the delay in posts!! We have had terrible internet, then we didn't bring our computers to Paris, but now we have excellent internet so I will be able to post some photos as well!

On our first full day in London (after breakfast from my previous blog), Borough Market was our first official stop.  It had been recommended to us by a guy at the hostel, and we all loved it.  Free samples of bread, cheese, and granola were delicious, so we knew we would be going back!  Right next to Borough Market was Southwark Cathedral.  A beautiful church on the south bank of River Thames (right near the London Bridge!).  We also went to Tower Bridge (my other favorite stop of the day). It was beautiful!! Other things we saw included Shakespeare's Globe, the Tower of London, Millennium Bridge, and St. Paul's Cathedral.

As always, our leaders Abby and Abby gave the directions, Mel (the relayer) told them to Sarah (comedic relief) and I (the photographer) haha! We all have our designated roles:)

We had "take-away" lunch at Pret's (note: it is not called "to-go" in London) and enjoyed our sandwiches, fruit, and much-needed water at Green Park. Stopped at Lilywhites AKA soccer heaven for Abby Norman, it is a giant mall-like store with an entire floor dedicated to everything soccer.  We ran into Mati at Trafalgar Square!! That was definitely a highlight of the day watching Sarah scream her name and run across the street to embrace her hahah!

Headed back to the hostel to enjoy some pasta and green beans we made for ourselves, then back out to see the Tower Bridge at night! So pretty!
