Officially in London!

After two delays (two hours sitting in a stationary plane), our flight FINALLY was able to take off for London. We arrived around 1:30 (London time) and made it to the hostel around 3:30. Lots and lots of trains to figure out, as well as having to get thru the long line at customs. Checked in at the hostel (New Cross Inn) with Daniel, the nicest person thus far. He has answered a million of our questions and thinks we are hilarious. The stairwells are VERY tiny, so lugging our stuff up four flights of stairs was exhausting, but we made it to our room! Since there are 5 of us traveling together and all the hostel rooms are an even number we weren't expecting a roommate, but behold Johannes Arnold (our lone male roommate from Germany). Hahaha! Still have yet to introduce ourselves because we didn't know if he spoke English or not. Showering was first on our list, with only a half cup of water coming out of the broken shower-head (it does not stay on the wall) at a time made for another experience.

We went to dinner at Amersham Arms which was delicious! We told the bartenders it was our first night in London, so they were both awesome in letting us take pictures of ourselves and of them:)
We walked around some after dinner and found a sweet bar with lots of people, found out it was Ladies Night so we had to attend! Abby N and I had our first pint of beer in London, and all of us got complimented on our "accents". We made it back to the hostel and Johannes was sleeping, so tonight we're going to ask him if he wants to come out with us:)

This morning we went to our free breakfast at the hostel, Sugar Puff cereal, bread, and hot tea. I definitely could get used to having hot tea every morning! More to come later after we go explore the city some more! Besos!
